Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – The doctoral dissertation defense was held at the International Institute for Islamic Studies in the city of Qom, Iran.

This dissertation study on Shia jurisprudence was done by Hujjat al-Islam Yahya Jahangiri, an international Muslim khateeb who was a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Islamic Studies.

His study consists of 196 pages and is considered as the first ever English dissertation carried out in the area of  Shia jurisprudence.
